Performance L-shape Piggy Back Damper for XRT 8S

This aftermarket L-shape piggy back damper is intended for the TRAXXAS XRT 8S scale buggy to manage rebound and absorb impacts, helping the vehicle stay composed over rough ground.

Built from 6061-T6 aluminium with a shock-absorb cap to minimise leakage, the design includes a piston spring inside the piggy back reservoir for refined rebound control. The polished damper shaft is enlarged to 7.0mm, reducing the tendency to bend versus the stock 5.2mm shaft.

Tuning is straightforward: the top spring retainer sets preload while the red screw at the lower end of the negative pressure oil cylinder adjusts rebound bias without taking the shock apart. The kit is shipped with replaceable 2.9mm silver coil springs, and it will also accept the installed 2.8mm black spring if retained.

Fitment note: suitable for front or rear installation on the specified TRAXXAS chassis; always check mounting points and thread sizes and use correct shock oil and seals to ensure reliable operation.
