The Trumpeter 01540 assembly kit reproduces the German Geschutzwagen Tiger Grille21 fitted with the 210mm Mortar 18/1 L/31 at 1/35 scale. This kit is aimed at builders who focus on authentic detail and accurate assembly procedures.
The original concept used Tiger tank components including the engine, transmission and steel road wheels, and was intended to mount heavy artillery such as the 17cm gun or the 21cm mortar. Only a prototype was partly completed by the war's end, making it an interesting subject for model construction and research.
