A 1:48 scale injection-moulded kit representing the Sea Hawk FGA.MK.6, designed with external stores fitment in mind to reflect late-1950s Fleet Air Arm loadouts.

The Hawker Sea Hawk entered Royal Navy service in the early 1950s and underwent carrier trials with 806 Squadron at Brawdy in 1953. Initial powerplants were superseded by later installations of the Nene 103, increasing the aircraft's ground-attack performance and enabling carriage of external stores. In total 434 Sea Hawks were built for the Royal Navy, with front-line units operating through 1960 and export customers flying the type into the 1980s. The FGA.6 version carried the Nene Mk.103 upgrade and saw limited production in the mid 1950s. Service measurements include a length of 12.09 m, a wingspan of 11.89 m and a maximum speed close to 962 km/h.

On the model the emphasis is placed on the external silhouette and period service fittings rather than on deep cockpit renovation. Finished dimensions are approximately 249 mm for the fuselage and 245 mm wingspan at 1:48, suitable for carrier diorama scenes. The kit contains one photo-etched fret to improve particular surface details and an instrument panel film to simulate instrument faces that are not moulded in plastic.
