The Trumpeter 05558 - 1/35 PLA ZBD-868 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) kit reproduces the upgraded ZBD 86B layout with a 30mm turret and HJ-73 missile launcher. The kit is laid out to give modellers realistic surface detail and structure for a convincing finish.

Construction Details and Lineage

Based on the BMP-1 design, the ZBD-868 became an important step in PLA IFV development by improving armament and fire control. This kit mirrors those changes and comes with over 470 parts, a single photo-etched fret and 180 separate track links that enhance realism.
