This 1:72 scale plastic representation captures the German Sturmgeschutz III Ausf. C/D as a compact tracked assault gun, aimed at hobbyists who favour display builds and period dioramas.
Designed during World War II to deliver direct-support fire for infantry, the Sturmgeschutz III used the Panzer III chassis. The early Ausf. series up to E carried the short 75mm StuK 37 L/24 gun and performed both assault and anti-tank duties. Manufacturing of these early types was concentrated before mid-1942 and many remained active into 1943.
The kit comprises 82 plastic parts on seven sprues plus a separate track assembly. The finished model's small footprint and included decal sheet marked "GERMANY ARMY" make it suitable for tight display spaces, reference projects, or scale collections using 1:72 armour.
A tidy 1:72 rendition of an early Sturmgeschutz III, offering a clear build path and compact result for display-focused modelling.
