Trumpeter 07258 is produced as a 1:72 scale injection-moulded model kit depicting the German Sturmgeschutz III Ausf. E, presented for display-oriented modelling and collector builds.

The Sturmgeschutz III was developed as an assault gun and later performed in defensive and tank-hunter roles. The initial Ausf A through E models were equipped with the short 75mm StuK 37 L/24. Early production was handled by Alkett, with Ausf E examples completed up to early 1942. These variants served on the front lines until newer types superseded them.

This release prioritises the Ausf. E external silhouette and proportion accuracy. The kit features light grey plastic components for hull and superstructure and includes full-length rubber-type strip tracks. Decals are supplied for a single-colour RLM 02 grey scheme.
