The Trumpeter 1/35 Soviet KV-7 (Object 227) kit offers a faithful scale interpretation of a wartime experimental tank concept. Designed during the early 1940s to test heavier armament on the KV platform, the vehicle never entered service but provides an interesting subject for scale armour builders.
As an experiment to increase battlefield firepower, the KV-7 trialled an unconventional turret arrangement with multiple gun mounts. Its rarity and distinctive silhouette attract modellers keen on unusual vehicles and development prototypes.
The moulding captures the tank's mass and the turret's complex shapes, giving an engaging build for those familiar with detailed military kits. Completed models respond well to weathering and diorama placement for display.
