Presented at 1:700 scale, this plastic model kit captures the SB2U scout bomber as a compact naval aircraft suited to tight display spaces and multi-aircraft decks.
The SB2U served as a carrier-capable single-engine scout bomber developed in the mid-1930s for the United States Navy. It combined reconnaissance and light bombing roles and saw limited early-war service before being superseded by later carrier types.
The kit assembles from six sprues into a diminutive finished model; the parts count and layout are optimised for this scale. A decal sheet reproduces period US Navy markings, and the listed finished dimensions help when arranging models within a diorama or on a display deck.
A compact, period-accurate SB2U kit suited to collectors and modellers building small-scale carrier or shore-based scenes.
