Adjustable aluminium motor bracket and upper spur case

This aluminium motor bracket with an integrated upper spur case is designed for TRX-4 crawlers to firm up motor fixation and shield the main gear from dirt. Combining mount and cover reduces relative movement and helps preserve consistent gear mesh while crawling over rough terrain.

The motor mount has multiple attachment holes so you can set the optimal distance between the pinion and spur. The design moves the motor forward by 3mm compared with the stock location to slightly alter the vehicle balance, a change some builders prefer for better front grip.

Manufactured from 6061 T6 aluminium for strong, impact-resistant construction, the assembly includes finned surfaces to help passive cooling. A powered cooling fan on the top of the case provides forced airflow across the motor, working together with the fins to manage temperature under load.

Fitting replaces the original motor mount and upper spur cover and uses the supplied hardware where compatible. When adjusting gear mesh, make small changes and check for smooth rotation to avoid premature wear of gears and bearings.
