Aftermarket C-clamp rear gearbox mounts

This 28pcs aluminium mount kit is an RC accessory made to change the rear gearbox to knuckle interface on Traxxas TRX-4 models, giving a firmer link between the rear gear box and knuckle arms while allowing incremental adjustments to damper positioning. The pieces are billet-style and made from aluminum 6061 T6 to keep mass down and strength up, with no suggestion of real-vehicle application.

The kit substitutes the factory fitment with a C-clamp style clamp at the knuckle arms and shifts the upper damper mounts slightly outward relative to the original vertical orientation. That lateral offset enhances side-to-side stability and frees up room to tune damper height and mounting angle for more effective trail crawling setups.

Included hardware follows the manufacturer's specification and should be used as supplied to achieve the intended spacer stacks and tie rod stability. Remember that fitting the longer 3x18 screws separates tie rod anchoring from the damper mount, allowing independent adjustment of both systems.

Assemble using the supplied collars to obtain the recommended damper stack heights, then cycle the suspension fully and check for binding before final tightening.
