These replacement crawler tyres are intended for TRAXXAS TRX4M Ford Bronco rigs and use a 25-degree super-soft butyl compound that improves grip by about 35% over standard plastic tyres. A pre-moulded foam insert provides internal support while an inner reinforcement layer helps reduce tearing yet retains the flexibility needed for slow, controlled crawling.
Installation notes: built for 1.0 inch wheels, the tyres have a snug inner diameter to limit slip on the wheel. The moulded clamping zone includes an extended tongue and reduced clamping thickness to better secure the tyre to matching rims. The design accepts a long fixing screw for direct attachment and can be installed using a single-handed clamp tool.
Setup and tuning: on TRX4M-scale crawlers these tyres increase traction and lateral support at low speeds; use foam firmness that matches wheel width and running surface, and double-check seat orientation and screw tightness after the first outing to prevent rim movement.
