Stiffened Steering Link for TT-02

This steering tie rod assembly is an aftermarket aluminium linkage made for the TAMIYA TT02 RC chassis and supplied as a one-set upgrade. It is aimed at hobbyists who prefer a more rigid steering link instead of the factory plastic component.

As a direct steering part, the tie rod plays a key role in toe settings and steering repeatability. Replacing plastic with alloy helps minimise flex under load and yields a firmer steering response while tuning suspension or drivetrain settings.

Installation requires matching the existing ball studs and thread pitch on the TT-02 steering layout and servo saver. Fitting is done with standard hand tools and does not alter electronic setup; inspect ball cups and tie rod ends for secure seating and free movement after installation.

Tuning notes: use the alloy rod to stabilise toe during testing of different setups, and verify there is no binding at full steering lock. Regular checks and light lubrication at joints will keep the steering action smooth.

It fits TT-02 layouts that share the same steering linkage geometry; confirm fit on drift or modified touring variants before purchase.
Yes, the rod does not require a different servo, though higher torque servos may help prevent binding if you run aggressive steering angles.
Check for correct thread engagement, free rod-end movement, and any interference with nearby suspension parts. Re-check after the first run.
