Alloy middle driveshaft joint for TT02 platforms

This alloy middle driveshaft joint is an aftermarket replacement suitable for Tamiya TT02 series chassis. It replaces a worn centre coupling to reduce transmission play and restore correct driveshaft alignment.

Fitting is straightforward: remove the centre driveshaft section on the TT02/TT02B, examine bearings and splines for wear, fit the coupling in the right orientation and secure fasteners to standard hobby torque. Only common hobby tools are required.

As a maintenance and incremental-performance component, the joint keeps drivetrain geometry stable for repeated track runs rather than providing a major power increase.

Yes, it is compatible with the TT02 and TT02B middle shaft layout used in common tuners and rebuilds.
Confirm the joint mates cleanly with the shaft splines and that the assembly spins freely without binding before final torque.
When fitted and maintained correctly, it should last through normal servicing cycles; inspect periodically for wear signs.
