TT-02/TT-02B steering saver: aluminium upgrade

This aluminium servo saver and accompanying tie rods are manufactured as a drop-in steering upgrade for Tamiya TT-02 and TT-02B models. The aluminium saver interfaces with a 25T servo spline and the metal tie rods reduce steering flex compared to the original plastic pieces.

Intended use: the kit is intended to protect the servo output from sudden loads while providing a firmer steering linkage for improved precision during setup changes and aggressive driving.

Fitting notes: installation involves mounting the saver to the 25T servo output and swapping the tie rods into the existing linkage. Minor adjustments to turnbuckles or linkage lengths may be needed to restore correct toe and steering centre. Always double-check spline seating and thread engagement during assembly.

Setup effects: moving to aluminium components increases steering feedback and reduces compliance under load. This helps when tuning steering response, particularly with firmer front springs or higher caster settings, giving a more consistent turn-in feel.
