The Yokomo SD-003DR is produced as a graphite rear upper deck for the D-MAX range of scale RC cars. This single-piece deck mounts to the rear bulkhead and serves as a structural member that alters chassis rigidity and the rear suspension stack characteristics.

For fitting, remove the factory deck, align the SD-003DR with the rear bulkhead mounting points, and secure with the existing screws. The process requires only standard chassis tools and the hole pattern is compatible with typical D-MAX layouts.

Using a graphite deck increases stiffness at the rear section and will modify yaw and mid-corner balance. Integrate this change into a methodical tuning plan: adjust one variable at a time and test handling before making further shock or toe changes.
