JR-DT309-GU replaces the DT-03's factory plastic steering parts with an aluminum hi-torque servo saver (25T) and precision aluminum tie rods. This upgrade is aimed at reducing steering play and providing a stiffer, more predictable link from the servo output to the steering knuckles on the TAMIYA DT-03 chassis.
The kit is only suitable for DT-03 based configurations. The saver uses a 25T spline interface; ensure your servo output matches 25T or fit an adapter. By replacing plastic rods with aluminum, flex is lowered and steering repeatability under load is improved.
Installation guidance: remove the stock saver and tie rods, carry over any necessary bearings or spacers, and fit the aluminum parts aligned to your steering geometry. Check for binding through full travel and re-check fastener tightness after the first outing. Treat this kit as a steering tuning upgrade, not a suspension overhaul.
