89mm progressive alloy dampers

This oil-filled shock set features 6061-T6 alloy construction and is supplied as a drop-in upgrade for the VANQUISH H10 Optic family and compatible RTR models. Each unit comes fitted with a black progressive spring (wire diameter 1.0mm) and an adjustable upper spring retainer to alter preload and the effective spring curve. Dampers are sealed and factory filled with 350cSt silicone oil for consistent on-track performance.

Notable mechanical details preserved from the original parts: 89mm centre-to-centre length for front or rear fit, an upsized shock shaft at 3.5mm to improve stiffness over the previous 3.0mm shaft, and a progressive spring that provides initial compliance before increasing in rate under heavier compression. These items are sold for suspension tuning and replacement purposes only.

Fitting is straightforward on the listed VANQUISH H10 Optic kits: remove the stock dampers, keep reusable mounting hardware, and install the replacements at the same locations. Adjust the top spring retainer progressively while testing to reach the desired balance of comfort and control.
