X4F front bulkhead for tuned handling

The XRAY 302783 front bulkhead is an aluminium lower bulkhead designed to give consistent geometry and a controllable front flex point for refined handling. It is CNC machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and black anodized to provide a tough, repeatable mounting face.

Built-in centering pins ensure quick assembly and exact left-right alignment. The design allows the part to be used interchangeably on both sides to cut down on spare part counts and simplify setup changes.

Countersinks are provided for use with a 1.5mm aluminium chassis plate so common screws sit flush and installation requires no special fasteners. The bulkhead also provides attachment points for the shock holder to directly influence local flex and front suspension dynamics.

When combined with an adjustable front bulkhead brace, the unit enables step-by-step tuning of chassis stiffness and handling without swapping top decks, making it easier to refine understeer and initial turn-in balance.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Adjusting the front bulkhead brace alters local chassis stiffness, which makes the car respond sooner or later during turn-in depending on how rigid the setup becomes.
Yes. By tuning front-end flex you can influence mid-corner grip and understeer levels, allowing more precise balance adjustments without swapping multiple components.
Mounting the shock holder to the bulkhead helps control local flex so damper inputs translate more directly into suspension behavior and driver feedback.
Not necessarily. The bulkhead is designed to integrate with existing X4F setups; tuning the brace alone often yields noticeable handling changes without swapping additional components.
