X4F 27 chassis plate - controlled flex design

This X4F 27 aluminium flex chassis is a 1.5mm competition plate optimised for high-grip track surfaces. It produces measured flex to tune steering response and cornering behavior, and its slim, tapered profile lowers the chance of chassis scrubbing during tight turns, helping to keep corner speed steady on carpet and asphalt.

Crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 and precision CNC-machined, the plate delivers uniform flex and robust service life under race conditions. The material properties combined with accurate machining give teams consistent feedback when making setup changes.

Proper fitting requires the specified components: HUDY Spring Steel countersunk screws #913305 M3x5 (4 pcs) must be used with 4 pcs of shims #303118-C and 4 pcs of shims #301119-C. Assemble following the prescribed mounting pattern to secure correct ride height and preload.

Specifications

  • Item: X4F 27 Aluminium Flex Chassis 1.5mm
  • Material: Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium
  • Model Number: XRAY 301030
  • Compatibility: Intended for high-traction carpet and asphalt track setups

As a tuning component, the 1.5mm X4F 27 helps when grip is high and finer steering control is needed; pairing the plate with the HUDY countersunk screws and specified shims ensures the flex behaves as expected for accurate setup tuning.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Expect crisper steering center and improved mid-corner stability on high-traction surfaces; the plate lets you fine-tune how quickly the car turns in without major suspension changes.
Yes. Precision CNC machining ensures uniform flex across production parts, which is critical for predictable adjustments and consistent lap times.
Altering preload via shims changes how the chassis flexes, which can shift balance toward more or less steering. Small increments are recommended to judge impact on understeer or oversteer.
Pair the plate with suspension settings that allow the chassis to work: slightly softer droop and tuned camber can complement the added steering response from the flex plate.
