The XRAY 301070 X4 Graphite Upper Deck is a 2.0mm graphite component engineered to fine-tune handling. It helps drivers adjust the trade off between steering bite and on-power stability for improved lap consistency.

Choosing the Right Flex Mode

The deck supports four set ups to alter flex behavior, letting you prioritise steering or stability depending on the track and tyres:

  • Soft Setting: Remove bushings and bearings to unlock maximum flex and increased turn-in, though straight-line control can suffer.
  • Soft-Medium Setting: A ball bearing at the motor mount reduces over-sensitivity while keeping good steering feel.
  • Medium Setting: The M3x5.5mm screw behind the layshaft provides a middle ground for everyday track conditions.
  • Stiff Setting: Use screws both in front of and behind the layshaft to stiffen the chassis for cleaner traction on corner exits.
