The XRAY 302394 Aluminium Front Steering Plate +1mm is a simple tuning item for drivers wanting a less nervous front end. Machined from Swiss 7075 T6, the plate gives a strong, accurate mounting surface for the steering linkage.

What the +1mm Offset Does

Adding 1mm to the steering plate moves the link attachment outward, increasing effective link length and softening steering reaction. This helps maintain control through quick direction changes on high-traction surfaces.

Is any trimming required to fit this plate?

No trimming is normally required. The plate installs using the stock mounting points on XRAY X4 models.

Will this change my steering throw?

It reduces steering sensitivity rather than changing total throw. Fine adjustments at the servo saver or steering rack may be used if needed.

Is the finish prone to corrosion?

The 7075 T6 alloy is not stainless but with normal care and occasional cleaning it will remain serviceable for many runs.
