Rear Shock Holder for Better Rear Rotation

The XRAY 302976 Rear Aluminium Shock Holder gives drivers a straightforward way to tweak the rear suspension on the X4. Built from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, these holders help place shocks precisely for predictable behaviour.

Lower Centre of Gravity for Stable Corners

Positioning the shocks 3mm lower reduces the centre of gravity and helps the car stay planted through corners. This change boosts cornering pace and reduces the chance of traction roll in high-grip environments.

Switch Between Fixed and Active Modes

These holders support both a standard fixed mounting and an active pivoting mode. The fixed option secures the holder with the M3x8 screw, while removing that M3x8 screw activates the pivot to soften rear dampening and increase off-power steering.

Hardwearing Finish and Solid Materials

Manufactured from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium with black anodising, the holders are made to endure race use. The durable finish helps resist wear and keeps the mounting geometry stable over time.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Active mode softens rear dampening by allowing the holder to pivot, which can add rotation on corner exit and help the car steer out of tight turns when traction is high.
The black anodising gives good surface protection and resists minor wear from routine track use, though it is still advisable to inspect parts after heavy sessions.
You may need to tweak spring rates or damper settings to balance the lower shock position and ensure the desired handling, especially when switching between fixed and active modes.
