XRAY 303004 Brass Motor Mount Plate for T4'18 Precision

The XRAY 303004 brass motor mount plate is a precision upgrade for the T4'18 chassis. Manufactured from heavy brass, it swaps in for the standard aluminium plate and provides an extra 4 grams on the centreline to help neutralise side-to-side imbalance and reduce chassis flex for cleaner handling.

Traction Gains from Rear-Mounted Holes

The motor mount is machined with extra rearward mounting options that shift mass toward the back of the chassis, increasing rear traction. This adjustment can make acceleration out of corners steadier and easier to manage at higher speed.

Does the XRAY 303004 require any chassis mods to fit?

No chassis modification is normally needed since the plate is designed for direct fitment to the T4'18 motor mount location. Inspect screw lengths to ensure a flush fit.

Will this change my motor position or gear mesh?

The plate replaces the existing mount with the same mounting reference points, so motor height and gear mesh should remain unchanged but always verify mesh after installation.

How should I maintain the brass plate?

Keep the mating surfaces clean and check fasteners regularly. If the plate shows minor corrosion, a light polish will restore finish without affecting performance.
