Performance Motor Mount for XRAY T4'19

The XRAY T4'19 Aluminium Motor Mount is CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum to deliver precise alignment and dependable stiffness. It lowers unwanted tweak and clarifies chassis flex for more predictable handling.

Design Features and Integration

The orange anodised finish and sculpted edge detail give the mount a clean race look. Fitted to the left layshaft bulkhead, it accepts smaller bearings on the layshaft axle to prevent interference when shims are not present under the top deck.

Robust Fixing and Flex Tuning

Two screws under the layshaft secure the mount to the chassis and there is an extra mounting point forward of the motor. A button-head screw connects the motor mount plate to the mount itself for a reduced-tweak assembly versus older countersunk arrangements.

For additional tuning, the M3 nut that links the motor mount plate to the chassis can be removed. Two holes behind that nut let you experiment with different flex settings to match track conditions.

Is the button-head screw better than countersunk for tweak control?

Yes. The button-head screw connection between the motor mount plate and mount reduces tweak relative to countersunk screw setups, improving repeatability.
