The XRAY 303061 LiPo Chassis Graphite Motor Guard is an upgrade aimed at protecting the motor endbell on the XRAY T4 2017 chassis. Manufactured from precisely machined carbon graphite, it gives robust defence while maintaining minimal weight.

Do I need special tools to fit this guard?

Standard hex drivers and a small spanner are sufficient. The included screws match common pit tool sizes so no specialty tools are necessary.

Is the finish durable under ordinary track use?

Yes, the CNC finish is resilient. While heavy impacts can still damage any guard, normal racing knocks are well tolerated by the carbon graphite material.

Will it interfere with motor leads or cooling?

The guard is profiled to avoid contact with motor leads and to allow adequate ventilation. Always route wires away from mounting points when fitting.
