The XRAY 305928 narrow pinion gear offers a weight-saving upgrade that enhances drivetrain responsiveness. Crafted from aircraft-grade duraluminum, it is 1.5mm narrower and about 25% lighter than standard pinions, helping reduce rotational mass without sacrificing rigidity.

Controlled manufacturing for dependable concentricity

These pinions are manufactured on XRAY's specially modified precision gear machines to extremely tight tolerances for excellent concentricity. Tooth edges are chamfered and gears go through a dedicated running-in stage, while the hardcoat finish boosts resistance to wear.

Broad compatibility and quieter shifts

Designed to work with generic spur gears and especially effective with XRAY spur gears, this narrow pinion reduces throttle on/off noise and smooths gear engagement for a more refined driving feel.
