XRAY narrow pinion with emphasis on balance and weight

The XRAY 305929 Narrow Pinion Gear is aimed at modelers who want lower rotating mass and reliable gearing. Constructed from aircraft duraluminum, it is 1.5mm thinner and about 25 percent lighter than a conventional pinion, helping reduce drivetrain inertia.

Controlled production for uniform performance

Manufactured on a specially adapted precision gear machine, this pinion achieves tight concentricity and repeatable tolerances. Chamfered teeth and a purposeful run-in process improve engagement, and the hardcoat finish enhances wear resistance.

Designed to pair with spur gears

The narrow tooth profile is compatible with a wide range of spur gears and performs especially well with XRAY spur gears to reduce noise and encourage smooth power delivery in both practice and race settings.
