The XRAY 305986 Narrow Pinion Gear is produced from aircraft duraluminum to lower weight while keeping robustness. It is 1.5mm narrower and about 25% lighter than regular pinions, helping reduce the inertia on the drivetrain.

Created on XRAY's modified gear machine, the pinion features tight tolerances for consistent concentricity. After machining each tooth is chamfered and the component receives a distinctive hardcoat to protect the profile and keep engagement smooth.

Reliable Fit and Reduced Noise

This pinion is compatible with common spur gears and tends to perform best with XRAY spurs, improving mesh consistency and lowering throttle noise. It ships ready to mount and perform from the outset.
