Machined from aircraft-class duraluminium, the XRAY 305988 Narrow Pinion is a slim, lightweight option for racers wanting lower rotating mass. It is 1.5mm thinner and about 25 percent lighter than standard pinions, helping the drivetrain accelerate more responsively.

Controlled Gear Cutting and Alignment

Using a specially modified precision gear cutter, XRAY holds tight tolerances to deliver strong concentricity. Each pinion is chamfered on all edges and run-in after machining to ensure precise alignment and dependable life.

Hardcoat Finish for Stable Profile

The XRAY 305988 comes with a hardcoat surface treatment that helps the gear maintain its true form under load and contributes to quieter running when used with XRAY spur gears.
