Fine finishing for consistent performance

The manufacturing routine includes chamfering and an even hard coat to protect the gear and ensure consistent engagement with spur gears. Using XRAY spur gears with this pinion can reduce gear noise and stabilise drivetrain feel.

Optimised weight for better drivetrain efficiency

Built from aircraft-grade duraluminium, these pinions are thinner by 1.5mm and around 25 percent lighter than typical pinions, which reduces rotating mass and helps with acceleration. They come in tooth counts of 40T, 42T, 44T, 46T, 48T and 50T for flexible gearing choices.
