Refine Mid-Corner Traction with XRAY ULP Progressive Shocks

The XRAY 308029 ULP Progressive Aluminum Shock Set focuses on improving a touring car's mid-corner stability and steering consistency on paved tracks. Its progressive response helps maintain grip when loads increase during cornering.

Insert and Piston Interaction

The shocks use a specially machined insert featuring three triangular cuts that operates with pistons without holes. This arrangement gives a progressive damping curve that is softer at the start of travel and firms up as the piston rises, helping control weight transfer during aggressive driving.

Craftsmanship and Durability

Inserts are CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum to combine stiffness and light weight, then black-coated to resist wear. Pistons are precisely moulded and ground to preserve roundness and ensure smooth, repeatable damping.

Where to Use and Fitment Tips

Optimised for asphalt, these shocks can be used on both front and rear. They require solid pistons without holes and run on standard shock oils, so they slot into existing shock setups with minimal fuss.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Regular inspection and light cleaning are enough. The black coating helps protect the aluminium but check for wear and replace inserts if they show damage.
Yes, oil weight tuning is still effective. Heavier oils will slow the response and lighter oils will speed it up, allowing you to fine-tune damping alongside the progressive insert behavior.
They are damping upgrades and do not directly alter ride height. Adjust spring preload or springs themselves if you need a change in static ride height.
