Low Traction Slipper Solution for XB2

The XRAY 324129 Aluminium 2-pad Slipper Clutch Plate with Adapter is a direct-fit performance part for the XB2 series, aimed at taming throttle spikes on dusty or loose surfaces. Made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, it is built to withstand racing demands while keeping mass low.

7075 T6 Strength and Treatment

Crafted from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the plate benefits from extra hardening and a black surface treatment for wear resistance. Carefully machined reliefs reduce friction and help keep slipper adjustment consistent lap after lap.

Two-Pad Slip Dynamics

The dual-pad design provides increased and controllable slip, helping to smooth power delivery when traction is limited. This concentrates load around the pad edge for more efficient engagement and better throttle control.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Gear mesh should be checked after installation but the plate itself does not alter gear spacing. Recheck pinion and spur alignment when fitting the adapter.
On loose dirt, back off slipper preload for smoother exits; on higher grip, increase preload for firmer engagement. Make small changes and test progressively.
A short bedding-in period under light loads helps mating surfaces settle. After initial runs, recheck settings and inspect for any unusual wear.
