XRAY 338001-K Shocks for Sharper Handling

Designed for the NT1 line, the XRAY 338001-K Aluminium Shock Absorber Set helps drivers gain crisper steering and more consistent traction. The construction focuses on longevity and dependable on-track behaviour.

Longer Bodies and Refined Travel

The updated shock layout features extended bodies and longer shafts to increase up and down travel, improving compliance over bumps. Main parts are CNC finished from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and hardened for sustained service life.

Tuning Options and Smooth Damping

Delrin pistons in white are supplied to keep damping smooth and repeatable. The kit includes 2-hole and 3-hole pistons in 1.0mm, 1.1mm and 1.2mm sizes for detailed valving. External fine threads make ride height adjustment fast and precise, while low-profile membranes assist with linear dampening.

Is special hardware required to fit these to NT1?

No special hardware is normally required for NT1 chassis; these are made to the NT1 specification and should use the existing mounting points and hardware in most builds.

How do the piston hole sizes affect handling?

Smaller piston holes increase damping resistance for more stability, while larger holes reduce damping for quicker response; swap between 1.0mm, 1.1mm and 1.2mm to tune behaviour.

Can I convert these to RX8 geometry?

Conversion to RX8 can be done but requires RX8 shock towers such as part numbers #342080 and #343082 to match RX8 mounting positions.
