Performance-Focused XRAY 350909 Rear Uprights for GT Chassis

Made for GT-class chassis, the XRAY 350909 Aluminum Rear Uprights are an upgrade item for nitro and electric GT cars. Constructed from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, they provide higher rigidity and longer service life than plastic hubs.

Sharper Handling and Less Play

Aluminium uprights offer improved stability during acceleration and deceleration phases. The extra mounting locations and set screw help minimise slop for a more direct steering feel.

Ready-To-Fit Replacement Package

The set contains the aluminium uprights, a graphite camber link mounting plate, the required ball bearings, and all small parts needed for installation. Carbon camber link positions give four adjustment points to fine-tune handling balance.

Specifications

  • Material: Swiss 7075 T6 Aluminum

They are intended for GT-style hubs; compatibility with touring bodies depends on your suspension and hub spacing, so check clearances first.
If your current bearings match the specified sizes and are in good condition you can reuse them, but new bearings are recommended for best fit and longevity.
Expect crisper steering response and more consistent behaviour through corners due to reduced flex, which helps when fine-tuning camber and toe settings.
Maintenance is similar to stock hubs: keep bearings clean and lubricated, check fasteners, and inspect for wear after impact.
The uprights themselves do not significantly alter ride height, but changes in suspension geometry after fitting may require a minor setup tweak.
