Precision Race Chassis for XB8EC Builds

The XRAY 351101 aluminium chassis is a version 2 plate built for XB8EC applications. CNC-machined from Swiss 3mm 7075 T6 and hardcoated, the chassis reduces weight where it counts beneath the engine and fuel tank to lower the centre of gravity and sharpen response.

Balanced Weight Layout

Designed to concentrate components centrally, the XRAY 351101 promotes even left-right balance for predictable handling. Countersunk mounting holes yield a sleeker underside that cuts turbulence and helps maintain traction through fast sections.

Finish and Race-Proofing

XRAY's robotic hardcoating produces a robust surface finish able to handle race conditions. Minor crack lines around complex cutouts can appear from coating stresses but are cosmetic and will not impair the chassis function.

Is the XRAY 351101 a direct swap for XB8EC kits?

Yes, the plate is made to align with XB8EC kit mounts and should install without adaptors on standard builds.

Do I need to worry about the hardcoat stress marks?

No; those marks are a normal outcome of the hardcoating process and do not affect structural performance in normal use.

How should I set up after fitting this chassis?

After fitting, start with your existing shock and ride-height settings and fine tune camber and toe to suit the chassis' slightly lower centre of gravity.
