Track ready XRAY 351106 XB9 chassis for sharper handling

Built from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the XRAY 351106 XB9 chassis provides a tough but light platform suited to aggressive off road racing. Precision CNC milling strips excess material to lower the centre of gravity while preserving critical stiffness. The hardcoat applied in XRAY's automated facility creates a hard wearing finish that resists routine track wear.

Engineering highlights and mounting options

The chassis features reinforced downstop setscrew locations and countersunk screws for a clean underside with no snag points. Mass is kept central to boost side to side stability, helping the car stay composed through corners. Multiple mounting positions for side guards and radio box plates let you alter Multi-Flex behaviour for different surfaces and driving styles.

Durability pointers for owners

Keep in mind that the rigidity of Swiss 7075 T6 can lead to small, superficial cracks around cutouts or sharp edges after hardcoating; these do not typically affect structural performance. Slight longitudinal bending from machining stress can also appear and is within normal tolerance.

Yes. The mounting options are standard for the XB9 series and accept most aftermarket side guards and radio trays designed for this platform.
Standard RC tools are sufficient. A torque controlled driver for countersunk screws and a deburring file are useful to ensure a neat fit and reduce stress points.
Small longitudinal bends are common. During build, check flatness on a known straight surface and correct by gentle clamping or shimming if needed for your setup.
