The XRAY XB8'19 Aluminum Chassis is produced from Swiss 7075 T6 and cut to a 3mm thickness to balance toughness with manageable weight. CNC machining focuses on reducing bulk in noncritical areas while preserving strength where the chassis takes the load.

Fitment Improvements and Travel Gains

This revised chassis accommodates both SOFT and HARD composite radio boxes without modification, simplifying installation. Front and rear downstop screw positions have been altered to allow more suspension down travel, enhancing grip on uneven sections. The engine is positioned further to the rear to help with weight distribution and straight-line stability.

The rearward engine placement shifts weight bias slightly rearwards, which may lower understeer and require small setup changes to shocks and ride height.
CNC machining is concentrated in low-stress zones to limit stress concentration. With correct installation and normal use the plate remains durable.
Most electronic layouts for the XB8'19 should fit, but double-check servo and receiver placement for clearance when fitting full-size radio boxes.
Inspect mounting points and screw torque regularly, and check for any signs of wear near high-stress interfaces after heavy running sessions.
