Machined from 3mm Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum, the component concentrates material where strength is needed and removes it elsewhere to save weight. That approach sharpens the centre of gravity and adjusts chassis flex to enhance handling on fast circuits.

Material Strength and Surface Considerations

Swiss 7075 T6 offers superior stiffness compared to common alloys. During hard anodising, tiny surface cracks can appear; these are only superficial and do not compromise the chassis structural performance. Those cosmetic marks are normal given the material and the machining process.

Is any trimming required for installation?

When fitted to a standard GTX8 this chassis should bolt in without trimming. If other parts or optional brackets are fitted, check clearances before final assembly.

Do these cosmetic cracks worsen over time?

No. The minor surface cracks from anodise do not propagate under normal use and will not affect durability or strength.

What handling changes should I expect?

Expect a slightly firmer chassis feel with altered roll characteristics. Fine tune shock valving and antiroll bar settings to match your driving style and track surface.
