Durable 3mm Swiss 7075 T6 Chassis for XB8E

Designed for the XRAY XB8E platform, this aluminium chassis plate supports a narrower chassis layout and a lower battery position. The design includes modified battery trays, a refreshed electronics plate and an enclosed receiver box to relocate the pack lower and closer to the centreline, aiding mass centralisation.

Produced from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium at 3mm thickness, the plate employs selective pocketing and machined flex zones that tune stiffness for consistent performance. The repositioned rear C-holder is part of the chassis revisions intended to affect rear grip and chassis balance across a variety of track surfaces.

Fitting this chassis will influence handling characteristics; the plate geometry and flex distribution change traction and steering feel. After installation, check battery placement and electronics clearance, then reassess suspension and roll center geometry to achieve the preferred handling traits.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The hard-anodized finish offers improved resistance to abrasion and wear, making the plate suitable for regular track running though heavy impacts can still produce marks.
Yes, the electronics plate and receiver box positions are updated; ensure your ESC, receiver and any sensors can be routed to fit the lower centreline layout without interference.
Re-evaluate roll centre and shock mounting geometry after fitting; small changes to spring rate or damping often help match the new chassis compliance to desired handling.
By centralising mass and lowering the battery, steering precision and turn-in feel can improve, though actual gains depend on suspension tuning and tyre choice.
The machined flex areas and pockets are visible and are purpose-made to control stiffness and yield predictable traction characteristics under load.
If setup is adjusted to suit the lower centre of gravity and narrower layout, many drivers see improved stability and consistency which can translate to better lap times, depending on driver style and track.
