Durable front shock tower for serious XT9 builds

The XRAY 352098 Aluminum Front Shock Tower is built to withstand demanding use while keeping weight down. Made from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and 4mm thick, it is suitable for drivers wanting tougher, more tunable front-end behaviour on XT9 models.

Strong CNC build with wide tuning range

This CNC-finished plate shows XRAYs black styling with silver edging and offers a broad selection of shock mounting holes. With 8 mounting positions on each side, you can tune roll stiffness and travel to suit rougher surfaces or faster layouts. The tower is designed to deliver repeatable changes when testing different setups.

Will the thicker 4mm plate change ride height or camber?

The plate itself does not alter ride height, but different shock positions can affect camber and ride height slightly. Re-check geometry after installation.

Is there any break-in period for aluminium parts?

No break-in is required, but inspect mounting holes and fixings after initial runs to ensure everything remains tight and undamaged.

Can I combine this tower with softer springs for rough tracks?

Yes, pairing different shock springs and damping with the tower lets you tune compliance for rough or loose surfaces while keeping chassis control.
