High quality ball studs for fine tuning

The XRAY 352656 ball stud, 6.8mm with a backstop, is produced from HUDY Spring Steel for enhanced toughness and dependable operation. The 13mm thread length is compatible with the aluminium rear upright 353358 and provides the range needed for roll centre adjustment.

Built to take track abuse

These studs receive heat treatment to improve hardness and longevity. The added thread length allows multiple shim stacks and setup variants. Sold as a pair, they are well suited to older XB Series builds where stronger link hardware is desirable.

Can I use these on non XRAY cars?

They may fit other cars that accept a 6.8mm ball stud with similar thread length, but confirm thread size and backstop clearance to avoid interference with suspension parts.

Is threadlocker recommended?

A small amount of medium-strength threadlocker can help prevent loosening under vibration, but avoid excess which can make later service difficult.

How do I check for wear?

Inspect the stud tip, threads and backstop for deformation, and confirm the ball cup still rotates freely. Replace if you notice flattening or thread damage.
