Stable Landings with Dual Flow Pistons

The XRAY 358028 piston set is aimed at hobbyists who tune suspension for jumps and rough terrain. Fabricated from Delrin, these pistons cut friction and resist wear to provide steady shock operation across sessions.

Dual Flow Hole Pattern

Each piston contains six 1.3mm holes along with two 1.1mm holes to create direction-dependent oil flow. During upward travel a rubber valve blocks two openings; on downward travel all eight holes are active, which helps damp impacts while keeping rebound controlled even with softer setups.

Precision Molding for Even Performance

The molding process produces pistons with consistent roundness so they seat properly in shock bodies. That precision supports uniform damping at each corner, helping the vehicle land more predictably and carry speed through rough sections.

Specifications

  • Material: Delrin composite
  • Hole Configuration: 6 x 1.3mm, 2 x 1.1mm
  • Flow Type: Two-way
  • Compatibility: Suitable for various RC shock absorbers

A solid choice for model owners wanting dependable piston behaviour to refine landing and rebound without complex changes.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
No special seals are normally required. Use the shock seals specified for your shock body and ensure the piston slides freely without lateral play.
They help most where jumps and choppy landings are common, giving smoother compression on impact while keeping rebound stable on loose or rough surfaces.
