Designed with off-road performance in mind, the XRAY 358029 Delrin Shock Pistons use a two-way flow concept to handle varied terrain. They are drilled with six 1.4mm holes and two 1.1mm holes to control oil passage on both compression and rebound actions.
The directional flow system changes damping based on travel direction. On upward travel a rubber valve seals two ports to maintain pressure, while on downward travel the valve opens so oil can pass through all eight ports. This helps stabilise the chassis during landings and on bumpy tracks.
Made from a specially formulated composite material, these pistons are precision moulded for consistent roundness and reliable movement inside shock bodies. That uniformity supports matched behaviour across all four shocks, leading to steadier handling and easier setup replication.
