Dual flow pistons for improved impact control

The XRAY 358031 Delrin 2-Way Flow Shock Pistons are engineered for riders who want predictable suspension under load. Included pistons have eight 1.3mm holes and two 1.2mm holes so you can tune oil flow for a range of surfaces.

Asymmetric flow for softer landings

These pistons use a rubber valve to close two holes on upward travel, while all ten holes open on the downward stroke. That asymmetric flow profile helps cushion landings and reduces pogo on rough terrain.

Precision Delrin build for lasting performance

Manufactured from a durable Delrin composite and precision moulded, the pistons maintain roundness and run smoothly inside shock bodies. The consistent geometry helps ensure identical damping across each corner.

Will these change my rebound feel?

Yes, the two-way design alters how oil moves during rebound versus compression. You may notice a firmer rebound but a gentler hit absorption on landing, depending on oil weight.

Are replacement valves available?

Rubber valves are a wear item and can be sourced from parts suppliers. Replacing a degraded valve restores the intended two-way action.

How many pistons are in the set?

The standard kit supplies enough pistons for four shocks so you can achieve matched damping across the vehicle without mixing different piston types.
