Rear Suspension Upgrade for XRAY XB808

The XRAY 358203 XB808 Rear Shock Absorber Set is intended for drivers who demand tougher, more controllable rear suspension on their XB808. This kit includes two big-bore rear shocks fitted with flexible rubber shock boots to shield the internals during rough runs and jumps.

Engineered Materials and Adjustment

These units use oversized 18.5mm O.D. externally threaded shock bodies with an adjustable collar to fine tune downstops. Hardcoated aluminium shock bodies and a one-piece aluminium cap provide consistent rigidity and longevity. Inside, 15.3mm I.D. composite pistons reduce friction and help maintain a smooth damping action.

Durability and Seal Technique

Expanded shock membranes and upgraded materials retain steady damping characteristics over repeated use. The lower assembly is crafted to cut down on oil seepage while keeping free shaft movement, using silicone compound O-rings and composite shims for reliable sealing. The 3.5mm thick high-tensile steel shock shafts are built to take heavy landings and aggressive driving.

Installation Recommendations

The XRAY 358203 set fits as a direct replacement for older XB808 shocks. For correct mounting geometry on the 808, install the XB9 shock tower when fitting these absorbers to ensure the best alignment and function.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Yes, the 358203 set replaces the stock XB808 rear shocks directly, though check mount spacing and consider the XB9 shock tower for ideal fitment.
Inspect the shock shafts for straightness, check O-rings and boots for damage, and verify there is no oil contamination in the reservoirs to keep damping consistent.
Clean the hardcoated aluminium with a soft brush and avoid harsh solvents; replacing seals as part of routine service will prolong life and performance.
