XRAY 358225 High Strength Rear Shock Bodies

Tailored for the XB8 platform, the XRAY 358225 Aluminum Rear Shock Body is intended to improve durability and tuning accuracy on rough circuits. Precision machining from Swiss 7075 T6 gives a strong yet lightweight component for competitive running.

Oversized Bore for Improved Damping

The design extends length by 2mm to boost shock performance over uneven surfaces. With an 18.5mm outer diameter and a 16.0mm inner diameter, these big-bore shocks enhance impact control and chassis balance. External fine threading makes spring preload changes straightforward and repeatable.

Consistent Manufacturing and Protective Coating

Each part is produced on German CNC machinery to tight specifications to ensure interchangeability. The robotic hardcoating process delivers a titanium-colored finish that is both durable and visually appealing on your XB8.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
They are designed to fit XB8 rear shock locations, but double check shock cap and lower mounting compatibility to be certain of a seamless swap.
The increased bore can change shock feel, so you might experiment with oil viscosity to achieve the damping balance you prefer for your track conditions.
The finish is both cosmetic and functional: it adds abrasion resistance that helps protect the body where seals and shafts contact the surface.
XRAY uses high-precision German CNC processes to keep tolerances tight, resulting in consistent fit and reliable shock performance across multiple units.
