Rear Upper Deck Upgrade for XRAY XB Models

The XRAY 361164 Graphite Rear Upper Deck is produced from 2.0mm graphite to boost rear chassis strength on older XB series machines. It secures between the rear bulkheads and the centre driveline, helping the car carry speed more predictably through corners. Built with SADDLE PACK battery layouts in mind, this deck is suited to hobbyists looking to tighten rear response without changing core geometry.

Will installing this affect drivetrain wear?

The deck itself does not change gear mesh. By reducing flex it can lower stress on bearings and driveshafts in some setups, but inspect components after installation.

It is optimised for SADDLE PACK arrangements; other layouts may fit but could need adjustments to mounts or cable routing.

What tools are recommended for fitting?

A set of metric hex drivers and a torque-limited driver are recommended. Check clearances with a hobby knife or small file if minor trim is required.
