XRAY 361288 Graphite Cable Guide for XB4'22

The XRAY 361288 Graphite Wire Cover is a purpose-built part for the XB4'22 chassis designed to keep motor and electronics cables cleanly routed. Made from precision graphite, it protects wiring from contact with moving parts and helps maintain chassis balance.

Front Brace Function and Setup Notes

Functioning as a front chassis brace, this cover provides more flex than the optional T-brace, which can be useful for increasing front traction on low-adhesion surfaces. For a stiffer setup on grippy tracks, the longer #361289 Graphite Chassis T-Brace is available separately.

Can I use XRAY 361288 with aftermarket servo mounts?

Compatibility depends on the mount footprint. Standard servo mounts used on the XB4'22 should be fine, but larger aftermarket mounts may require checking for wire clearance before fitting the cover.

Does the cover add noticeable weight?

Graphite adds minimal mass while offering structural benefits. Any added weight is small compared to the handling improvements from improved wire routing and chassis flex tuning.

Should I use this on carpet or clay?

The added flex can be advantageous on low-grip surfaces like carpet or dusty clay, where extra front traction improves turn-in. On high-grip surfaces you may prefer a stiffer brace.
