Performance Bulkhead Upgrade for the XRAY XB4

The XRAY 362006 differential bulkhead set uses a horizontal split to give quick access to gearbox internals and features an adjustable differential height. This setup reduces maintenance hassle and aims to minimise CV joint wear during aggressive running.

Reduced Driveshaft Strain

Featuring an inline bushing, the bulkhead allows precise tuning of the bevel drive gear height so the front central driveshaft runs at a gentler angle, lowering friction and mechanical stress. Its narrow, robust form works with the updated suspension holders to expand setup flexibility.

Speedy Differential Service

The horizontal split layout means the upper gearbox cover can be removed with just four screws, granting quick entry to the front and rear differentials. That makes setup changes and checks faster without removing the lower assembly from the chassis.

Specifications

  • Design: Horizontal Split
  • Compatibility: Fits XB4'21
  • Material: High-strength composite
  • Function: Differential height adjustment, improved driveline efficiency

Built for racers and experienced hobbyists, the XRAY 362006 bulkhead balances service convenience with improved driveline behaviour for practical on-track upgrades.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some XRAY items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
By reducing driveshaft angle and friction, the bulkhead can contribute to a sharper drivetrain response and smoother power transfer under load.
Installation typically uses common hand tools; you will remove the upper cover screws and refit components as with standard gearbox work.
After fitting, check driveshaft alignment and differential height, and run a brief test to confirm reduced binding. Small trim tweaks to diff height may be needed for ideal handling.
