Installation and Parts

The XRAY 368161 shafts are made to suit the 32mm shock body, item #368121. Best practice is to use them alongside these components:

  • #322084 Graphite Shock Tower Front 4.0mm - Lower
  • #323084 Graphite Shock Tower Rear 3.5mm - Lower
  • #368121 Aluminum Front Shock Body 32mm - Hard Coated (2)

Assembled with the recommended parts you will achieve reliable travel and improved steering feedback when adjusting spring rates and oil viscosity.

Do these shafts come pre-bent checked?

They are precision straight from manufacture but always inspect each shaft for straightness before assembly to avoid shock binding.

What is the best way to clean them after a day at the track?

Wipe with a lint free cloth, avoid harsh abrasives and check seals for grime. Minor polishing and fresh shock oil will keep them working smoothly.

Will using graphite towers change performance?

Graphite towers add stiffness and reduce weight which can sharpen handling. Combined with the XRAY 368161 shafts they help produce a firmer, more responsive front end.
